Project Description
SEO for London Architects
I first started working Ben in May 2018 after he contacted me for a very specific SEO project. Ben was looking to increase the visability for a specific blog post on his site and had a list of keywords to target. The initial work was to increase the visibility of the Extension Costs blog page – https://architectureforlondon.
Before we started the page was ranking in the mid 20 -30’s position for keywords relating to extension costs.
After auditing the post and general site structure I recommended some changes were made which Ben happily agreed to, in particular, I recommended re-writing the post to increase it’s length and better optimise for the keywords he wanted to target. Some technical elements were also made to the WordPress template to ensure that posts were set up correctly to use H1 elements and titles correctly.
After a few weeks, we managed to rank the site within the top 5 results for all of the main target keywords
Upon seeing the results Ben commissioned me to provide monthly SEO services for the whole of the site. As a result Architecture for London now ranking on the 1st page for a number of competitive keywords and we even have a few no1 positions.
